Montana Judicial Interactive Video Site
The Judicial Interactive Video Network originated as a collaborative effort between the Court Assessment Program, the Montana Juvenile Probation Officer's Association (JPOA) and Montana Legal Services to allow district court judges to expedite the handling of cases before them while maintaining the integrity of the court hearing.
Although the network is still in its infancy the network has expanded to include a point-to-point interactive video capability in 31 sites and encompasses courthouse, detention facilities, the state crime lab and the UofM Law School.
The Judicial Interactive Video Network is capable of bridging to other public and commercial interactive video networks at a fee.
